Tue - 22/02/11 - Brought two pretty little Dumbo girls home today, they are called Tilly and Bella and belonged to the receptionist at our vet. They are 13 months old and very lively.

Tue - 01/03/11 - Took Digby to the vet for another course of Nisamox.

Sat - 02/04/11 - We lost Jake today, he was a sweet gentle little boy and we will miss him a lot.

Mon - 02/05/11 - Becky died today, she just slipped away after being very quiet for a few days. She was a wonderful girl and loved spending time with us, a real little sweetie.

Mon - 09/05/11 - Took Digby to the vet for a third course of Nisamox.

Sat - 04/06/11 - We lost Penny today, she had been poorly for over a week and had stopped eating. She was a wonderful little girl, very clean and well behaved, a little treasure.

Sat - 11/06/11 - Started Digby on his fourth course of Nisamox.

Fri - 17/06/11 - Bella has had a stroke which has affected her right side, she can still eat soft food but will need a lot of care.

Wed - 06/07/11 - Started Digby on a course of Marbocyl to treat an injured back leg.

Sun - 10/07/11 - Bella died this morning, she just went to sleep and drifted off.  She was a good little thing and we`ll miss her. Digby`s leg is getting better.

Mon - 01/08/11 - Took in a baby rat who had been handed in to our vet. She is only a few days old and is going to need a lot of care if she is going to survive.

Wed - 03/08/11 - The baby rat died today, she just stopped feeding, poor little thing. Digby has a lump on his belly, the vet said it`s best left alone if it isn`t bothering him.

Wed - 31/08/11 - We lost Digby today, he just drifted off while I was holding him. He was a wonderful boy, so well behaved, gentle and loveable, a real little friend. We will always miss him and remember him as a very special rattie.

Fri - 23/09/11 - Picked up two hoodie boys from Longview, we have called them Harry and Gerald.

Tue - 27/09/11 - Took Harry and Gerald to our vet for a course of Amoxicillin as a precautionary measure.

Sat - 29/10/11 - Harry and Gerald have settled in really well, they are just getting used to being handled. Tilly has been living with Lester for the last two weeks and they get on well with each other.

Sun - 30/10/11 - Drove to Leeds to pick up three Russian Blue baby boys from Jannine, who breeds prize-winners and is a real rat lover. They are called Henry, Harvey and Hudson.

Thu - 29/12/11 - Little Murphy died today he had been off his food for a few days and just slipped quietly away. He was a sweet and gentle little boy.

Fri - 06/01/12 - Took Lester and Harry to the vet as they were both a little bit sniffly, they have each been started on a course of Amoxycillin.

Sun - 22/01/12 - Noticed that Gerry is having trouble using his hands and is having some difficulty eating. Lester and Harry seem to be fine at the moment.

Thu - 26/01/12 - Gerry died tonight, he was a wonderful little rattie and deserved to have a good life. We are going to miss him very much.
